How to log in
Your username is your student number. DUT will communicate any required login/password steps during onboarding.
First-time password change
When you receive your first onboarding email, you’ll be prompted to change your password. Passwords are at least 8 characters.
DUT Applications (2026)
For many first-time undergraduate applications in KZN, students apply using CAO. Always confirm programme-specific requirements and deadlines on official platforms.
Undergraduate (First-time)
Apply via CAO, choose DUT programmes, pay CAO fee, then track using your CAO number.
Apply on CAOPostgraduate / Returning
Processes can differ by faculty. Use DUT’s official application/registration pages and notices.
