📘 Admission Requirements
NC(V) Programmes: Minimum Grade 9 pass or equivalent. Certified ID, latest results, proof of residence required.
NATED (N4–N6): Matric certificate (Grade 12) OR NCV Level 4.
Compulsory Pre-Entry Placement Assessment (online) for all applicants.
💰 NSFAS & Tuition
NSFAS covers full tuition, allowances, and learning materials for qualifying students (household income ≤ R350,000). Annual fees: NCV R1,000–R19,000; NATED R3,500–R8,000 per semester/trimester. Apply at www.nsfas.org.za (typically Aug–Nov).

Admission Criteria & Entry Requirements
NC(V) Entry
Minimum Grade 9 pass or equivalent (e.g., ABET Level 4). No strict subject requirements, but basic literacy and numeracy are essential. Ideal for learners seeking vocational training from NQF Level 2 upwards.
NATED (N4–N6) Entry
Matric certificate (Grade 12) OR NCV Level 4 in a relevant field. Engineering N4 requires Grade 11/12 Mathematics and Physical Science as an advantage. Business N4 only needs a Grade 12 pass.
PLP (Pre-Vocational Learning)
One-year bridging programme for students who do not yet meet NC(V) entry requirements. Successful completion leads into NC(V) Level 2. Available at selected campuses (e.g., Umbilo, Springfield).
NSFAS & Fee Structure 2026

NSFAS Important Update
2026 NSFAS applications closed on 31 January 2026. However, mid‑year applicants for Trimester 3 (August/September 2026) may apply for the DHET TVET College Bursary (NSFAS) second window. Contact the Financial Aid Office at Asherville Campus. For 2027, the NSFAS cycle typically starts in September 2026. Prepare parent/guardian consent forms and income proof.
